Exodus Detailing started for the same reason most good shops start — because nothing in the area was quite doing what we wanted to see done. Premium prices were being charged for what amounted to a fancy carwash, and the term "ceramic coating" was being thrown around for products that wouldn't last a season.
We do detail work the way an enthusiast would do their own car. Hand-wash only with grit guards and two-bucket method. Iron and clay decontamination before any polishing happens. Steam-cleaning for interiors instead of harsh chemicals on contact surfaces. And when a customer asks about ceramic coating, they get a real professional product applied by a trained applicator — not a $40 spray-on consumer kit being labeled as "ceramic."
Every job starts with a free, no-pressure walk-around. The customer sees exactly what we're going to do and gets a firm price before any work begins. There are no surprise charges at the end, and there are no upsells partway through. If a single-stage polish is going to get 90% of the result of a multi-stage correction, we'll tell you that.
